Affiliate Disclosure
There are currently no active affiliate links on BabyPlanner; this page explains how we would handle them if that changes.
Last updated: May 2026
Current Status
At this time, BabyPlanner has no active affiliate links and does not earn affiliate commissions. We are publishing this disclosure now so that our practices are clear and transparent if that ever changes.
How Affiliate Links Would Work
In the future, BabyPlanner may include affiliate links to products or services. An affiliate link means that if you click it and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price in A$ that you would have paid otherwise, and the commission is paid by the retailer or programme, not by you.
How We Would Choose What to Mention
If we add affiliate links, any product we mention or recommend would be based on its genuine usefulness to parents and carers, not on the size of a commission. Earning a commission would never change our honest assessment, and we would not recommend something simply because it pays us. Our goal is to remain a resource you can trust.
Advertising Standards and Disclosure
In keeping with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidance on misleading or deceptive conduct, and the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) Code of Ethics on clearly identifying paid or commissioned content, we believe in clear, upfront disclosure. Should affiliate relationships begin, we will disclose them — for example, by noting on relevant pages that they may contain affiliate links from which we may earn a commission — so you always know when a link could earn us money.
Changes to This Disclosure
We will update this page, including the "Last updated" date above, if and when we add affiliate links or join affiliate programmes.
